In the soundtrack especially composed for Play, a show of fine artistry by the inimitable all-Italian Kataklò Athletic Dance Theatre, Ajad has created a truly musical journey to support the choreography. Intense musical landscapes range
from vigorous majestic moments through dreamy and joyous atmospheres, to moments of irresistible fun, reflecting at every moment a fine work of sound design and careful research into the distinguishing elements.
This exquisite soundtrack creates a leading musical thread that remains closely linked to the imagery throughout, supporting it and lending still more evocative force to the overwhelming, joyful enthusiasm of Play.
Play officially represented Italy at the Peking Cultural Olympics 2008 at the request of the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the Beijing Olympic Games Committee and under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Embassy.
